We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. This policy explains the limited browser storage we do use, and how you can control it.

1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner. Local storage is a similar technology that lets a website keep information in your browser.
2. How we use them
The Cotton IQ website does not set cookies. The only browser storage we use is in the portal, to keep you signed in. We measure how the website and portal are used with analytics that do not use cookies.

We do not use cookies or local storage for advertising, to sell your information, or to build profiles about you.
4. Analytics and local storage
We use Vercel Web Analytics on the website and portal to understand how they are used. It does not use cookies.
When you sign in to the portal, a session token is stored in your browser's local storage. The portal needs this to work, and it keeps you signed in. We keep this section current as our tools change.
5. How to control cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings; doing this signs you out of the portal. Most browsers also let you refuse cookies or be notified when one is set.
